Dear Friends, after I was able to publish my book Dear Friends, after I was able to publish my book project just over a year ago, I received a lot of positive feedback and encouragement. Nevertheless, I fell into a black hole mentally and physically. 2024 was pretty terrible. In June, I even had to cope with the death of my beloved father. There have been few moments in the past that made me pause for thought and put a lot of things to the test. Creatively speaking, I was completely blocked, drained and disgusted by social media. How can things continue for me? How do I want to progress as an aerosol artist and writer? For me, the answer was to cut my previous alter ego “Kid Crow” to mark a turning point. Kid Crow becomes Crow.139, where the 139 stands for my date of birth (not the street in NYC =) Two concepts and story lines are added to the name. “MOTLEY CROW” as an outlet, which refers to quotes from my past in various subcultures (Hardrock à la Mötley Crüe and Heavy Metal were a strong influence as a child) and “MYSTIC PURPLE”, which will take place in the field of tension of psychedelic art, lettering, skateboard design and the comic era of the 80s and 90s. Ho, Ho, Hoppe! Dieses Jahr durfte ich im Sommer un Ho, Ho, Hoppe! Dieses Jahr durfte ich im Sommer und Herbst ein großes Projekt für den Kindergarten meiner kleinen Tochter umsetzen. Im gemeinsamen Prozess mit Kindern und Eltern wurden Ideen gesammelt, die Wände saniert und dann in ein buntes und verrücktes Patchwork aus Styles und Figuren verwandelt. Meine künstlerische Leistung habe ich gespendet, um das Projekt Wahrheit werden zu lassen. Die Kinder und selbst Kindergarten-Hund Gordon lieben das Resultat. Danke an das gesamte Team der Hoppetosse, an die @johanniter_bayern und an @skyling_drones aka Tobias für das coole Reel vom Einweihungsfest vor ein paar Wochen. Ho, Ho, Hoppe! This summer and fall, I was able to realize a big graffiti art project for my little daughter’s kindergarten. In a joint process with children and parents, ideas were collected, the walls were renovated and then transformed into a colorful and crazy patchwork of styles and characters. I donated my work to make the project a reality. The children and even Gordon (the lovely kindergarten dog) love the result.
